Avaya 6421 phones unregister

Hi,

I know how to fox this with an asterisk install but cant seem to find what i need in the sip conf files on freepbx.

Basically Avaya phones unregister from asterisk occasionally , it is due to Avaya using a non standard MWI i believe :

Looks like this

[2014-02-07 10:32:41] VERBOSE[15191] config.c: == Parsing ‘/etc/asterisk/rtp_custom.conf’: Found
[2014-02-07 10:32:41] VERBOSE[15191] res_rtp_asterisk.c: == RTP Allocating from port range 10000 -> 20000
[2014-02-07 10:32:44] NOTICE[3141] chan_sip.c: Peer ‘7002’ is now UNREACHABLE! Last qualify: 96
[2014-02-07 10:32:45] NOTICE[3141] chan_sip.c: Peer ‘7001’ is now UNREACHABLE! Last qualify: 48

Anyway fix on asterisk is to remove the mailbox=xxxx@device line from sip.conf.

I cannot find where i would do this on freepbx as the sip.conf just links to other conf files that dont seem to have that line!

Any help appreciated!

That setting is in the extension, directly exposed

Are you talking about 4621 ??
Are you using particular settings to make it register to FreePBX ??

4621sw , they register fine if you switch off alpha numeric passwords.
