Autoprovision Cisco SPA303 via HTTP?

Hello,

New to FreePBX (Asterisk). Apple Sys Eng, with UNIX cmd line experience.

Have a new Cisco Meraki MX90 that for some reason will not route TFTP correctly, so we have been unable to auto-provision our phones.

I have a test CentOS / FreePBX server setup internally, and just trying to get a SPA303 to grab a config file via HTTP.

Under Connectivity > OSS Endpoint Advanced Settings, I have the IP of the server, and, Config Type set to: Web HTTP.

I created a folder under root, /phoneconfig, with the SPA303 config files in it.

I have set the path under the Global Final Config: /phoneconfig/

Says, “Point your phones to: http://192.168.70.178/provisioning/p.php/

When going to this path in a browser, cannot find the folder / files.

Must have something to do with apache / webserver, etc.?

Any help, greatly appreciated

Thanks,

John

The phone has to retrieve the data. Not you manually.

Hello,

Newbie here, am using FreePBX 2.11.0.27
we do have some cisco spa303 phones, and would like to auto configure it using OSS EPM. i did the same thing as what “macnylonguitar” did, except that the spa303 config file is just on /tftpboot.

Under Connectivity > OSS Endpoint Advanced Settings, I have the IP of the server, and, Config Type set to: Web HTTP. Says, "Point your phones to: http://11.11.1.39/provisioning/p.php/

I put in the URL into the spa303 under Provisioning>Profile Rule, and submit all changes. but the phone did not seem to get the config file and auto provision the phone.

Please help me make this work, as we are adding some more spa phones for other extensions, so that the phone s will be automatically configured once connected to the internet.

Any help will be greatly appreciated…

Thanks in advance,
