Automatic restore global variant

Working on my IVR and have defined a global variant that needs to be reset to the default value at 5pm… I don’t want to restart my FreeBPX every day.

In fact I would like to schedule a cron-job that resets global variants. Is that possible in FreePBX 14/ Asterisks ? Is there something like a scheduler that I can use ?

My idea…

cronjob scheduled somewhere in the evening:
fwconsole reload

Is that a solution for resetting global variables to the original default startup values?

Did not try it yet. Any feedback is welcome
