Atlanta Asterisk Users Group VOIP Conference

Hey all,

Once again, it is that time of year for the Atlanta Asterisk User Group’s VOIP Conference (fka InstallFest). This year’s event will have two tracks. One track will be a step by step installation of a PBX. We will do the install, go through some of the steps we take to harden it and demonstrate some of the tricks we do with dial plans.

The second track will feature speakers from the VOIP industry. Some of the speakers will be Ward Mundy from the PBX in a Flash project, Joe Roper from Star2Billing will join us via video phone, Mark Carson from Aastra, Mike Storella from Snom and Robert Messer from ABPTech. Sangoma will be there again this year and bring us up to date on their latest technology. Kevin Lynn, security researcher from George Washington University, will be there to discuss vulnerabilities in an Asterisk/FreePBX based machine.

The event will be held in the Klaus Advanced Computing Building at Georgia Tech on April 17, 2010. For more information and to register, go to http://atlaug.com/drupal/fest2010.

This event is free, including free lunch compliments of Sangoma. If you are planning to attend, please register at the link above. We would hate to run out of Pizza

Shameless bump.

This conference is going to be broadcast virtually. The speaker list is finalized. It is going to be a great conference.
