Is freepbx allow backups from one Asterisk version to be used on a system with a different Asterisk version installed?
I am having asterisk 1.8 on one server whose backup i want to restore on asterisk 11 (Asterisknow server).
freepbx allows changeing the version with a single command from 1.8 to 10 or 11.
Maybe you do this first and then make a backup to import it into your new installation.
