Asterisk Process

I have the following situation:

It’s a normal condition having many “/usr/sbin/asterisk -f -U asterisk -G …” pid

You are seeing the individual threads. Modern versions of ps suppress all but the thread leader process, but your tool is showing all the threads. Threads share the same memory, except for the stack, but are otherwise treated like simple processes.

Press F2 and go into setup, display options, tick the box hide userland threads
