How do I change the Asterisk Manager password?
I changed it in advanced settings, but then FreePBX was no longer connected to Asterisk, so I couldn’t actually apply the changes.
Value in Advanced settings must match the secret value for the [admin] manger in /etc/asterisk/manager.conf.
edit: after changing manager.conf, you will need to reload with asterisk -x "core reload"
Sorry, I had changed it in the file too, but no workie.
A reboot brought it back.
