Asterisk log gui not working

i installed the asterisk logfiles module,
but when i go to it, it doesnt show up. I get

/var/log/asterisk/full - last 2000 lines
Redisplay Asterisk Full debug log (last 2000 lines)

and thats all thats on the page.
However if i telnet into the box and go to nano /var/log/asterisk/full it shows the logs.

and ideas?
