Just curious about something I noticed…
In FreePBX current stable, under Asterisk Info module, and Summary, it shows IAX Registry: 1 but I do not have any IAX2 connections at all. I do have Google Voice Motif set up, but I can’t find anything else that indicates any IAX2 registrations or connections. What would this mean?
Do you have any FAX connections in your system, or do you have “Detect FAX” set for any of your lines?
Another possibility: Log into the console as ‘root’ and run ‘asterisk -vr’. From there, you can query “the source” for the display in the Summary. I’m not sure where all you’d need to look, but there are lots of options under the “iax” command (“iax ?”).
