Hello all I’m in need of some guidance here. I am currently running Asterisk 15.5 and I am using the CLI to make changes to the system as needed. I would like to now move over to using your FreePBX GUI admin pages for simplification of administration. Can we simply upload the sip.conf and the other conf files to the FreePBX and it will read and import those?
No. FreePBX will generates its own versions of those files and will continuously overwrite them. You must translate your current PBX config into the GUI.
