Asterisk 18.5 is out - Any time-frame for when it will be posted?

Had this problem here: FIX - PJSIP BLF CallerID info - FreePBX / Tips and Tricks - FreePBX Community Forums

The fix works (except that you have to drop back to 16 - we were using 18).

It says here: [ASTERISK-24601] [patch]Missing RFC4235 tags and attributes in PJSIP NOTIFY event: dialog XML body - Digium/Asterisk JIRA that it is in Asterisk 18.5.

Asterisk 18.5 was released June 24th - Any time-table on when it will be in the Repo’s?

It’s available now from the testing repo:

[root@uc-51459655 html]# yum list asterisk18
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, versionlock

Installed Packages
asterisk18.x86_64 18.5.0-1.sng7 @sng7-testing

Sweet!

You have to enable the Testing Repo: https://gist.github.com/jfinstrom/f052f0cd730876e8c7a7c81445fa8698

Once that is done, you can get it - Thanks!

IIRC, all you need to do is

yum install sangoma-devel

And then you can do a yum update

Using yum for this allows you to then remove when you’re done:

yum remove sangoma-devel

I looked at that - sangoma-devel installs a LOT of things besides just the testing repo - probably none of it’s harmful, but I am a minimalist, so I just enabled the repo and then did a yum update asterisk18* to get the new version - worked great.

Then I turned the repo back off.
