Asterisk 13.7 release in FreePBX distro a month after?

Just got a support message back that says Asterisk 13.7 will be included one month after its release? I thought @tm1000 said it’ll be soon after its release?? I need this working sooner…

So should I be holding my breath, or build a custom distro in the meantime? That’s what your support guy said…

Can’t wait a month after Asterisk 13.7 is actually released for this to work. A couple of weeks is OK…

I am waiting on Digium to release Asterisk. I have zero control over that.

PS you can build to your hearts content but you’ll still only get an RC release. The full release isn’t out yet.

Right - I’m just trying to reconcile what you’re saying vs support. My understanding is the FreePBX releases soon after Asterisk comes out. But that’s not what your support department said. That’s why I’m confused and a bit agitated. Totally understand that it’s out of your control…you guys are excellent at what you do. Just making sure I get my $150 worth out of support.

I think it was just a mixup. We’re all waiting for 13.7 because of a couple of bugs. As soon as it’s available, it’ll be packaged and released. It’s often within the hour, and extremely unusual to be more than 24 hours.

Yay! 13.7 is out now…can’t wait to get TLS on my FreePBX distro working again! Excuse my impatience, but I’ve been waiting for this to be fixed since March…
