That was me updating to the new freepbx 2.1.3 on the live box.
by default it overwrites the index.html.

The download links are back now

that box is a “LIVE” TrixBox 1.2 / Vmware image server box

served up almost 120 gig of data this month so far (OUCH) I bet my hosting provider is going to chole on those numbers.

Mojomonster.com ( PBX hosting company) is donating the bandwidth…Cuz man that is going to be a good size bill…

Just FYI, there’s a bug in 1.4b2 that causes it to crash on a reload - stick ‘noload => chan_skinny.so’ in your modules.conf, or wait for b3 to be released…

–Rob

I was waiting on 1.5

It reloads SO SLOW…

I have been happy with 1.2.12.1 or whatever it is…
we tested good today had a 4 person conference running for HOURS without a hitch (remember now this box is also sitting there servering up three VMware images for download… getting HIT HARD ALL DAY…

Bandwidth bill is going be HIGH …glad I do not have to pay it…

Yeah. That’s the chan_skinny crashing. Seems to work reasonably well so far 8)

what is the root password

ramsesiden,

This is a message that is 2+ years old. Not so say there is anything bad with anything that Bubba does as he does fine work. But why download a Beta copy of something 2 years out of date when there are MANY public distributions complte with user manuals and pages and pages of docs now out for use.

Please take a look at Elastix, PBXinaFlash.net, god forbid even the latest version of trixbox and it’s issues all are using * 1.4 and ahve tons of documentation out and available.

Again I’m not slamming Bubba in any way, just there are newer more uptodate things available.

And if this question has nothing to do with the image he offered then please DO NOT HIJACK a existing OLD thread about one thing with something else.

I have a small setup on a spare pc with a DSL connection which is working great with a few users. However, I anticipate that it will need to grow to accommodate many more simultaneous calls, maybe thousands, all from DIDs terminating to POTS phones. Seems like this may use a lot of bandwidth, so I’m looking to host the service in a well-connected data center with generous bandwidth limits.

Of course, it would help if the hosting company (and/or data center) is familiar with asterisk/freepbx.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

You probably should have created a new thread for this, but here is my answer. Aretta.Com, an Atlanta, GA based firm does exactly that. They host Asterisk PBX’s.
