I’m brand new to FreePBX, but am doing pretty well so far. I need to figure out how to assign a pre-recorded message to an extension. We had someone record all the system messages ahead of time now I’m trying to set them up for a few different night time support extensions. How would I go about doing this?
So do you want these messages to play before your extension rings? Are these recordings for some kind of IVR system?
Got it figured out. My boss went command line on it and accessed the file system and associated the VM with the extension. All is good now.
