If Appointment Reminder gets an answering machine or IVR it repeats it’s instructions 3 times before hanging up. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? If it’s an answering machine or IVR, I would prefer for it to hangup after playing the message.
It repeats because we can not guarantee the message being left will begin when the answering machine or voicemail starts recording so it repeats 3 times and no its not something that can be turned off. Feel free to open a feature request at issues.freepbx.org.
