Apply Config -> XHR response code: 401 XHR responseText: undefined jQuery status: error

When I try to apply config iin GUI, I get this response as a pop up window

Error!
Error: Did not receive valid response from server
XHR response code: 401 XHR responseText: undefined jQuery status: error

Also when I navigate the GUI, I am brought back to the main page and asked to enter pw to continue.

I did run this command “yum reinstall php” to fix some php errors I was getting.

Any Ideas?

Check your /var/log/httpd/access_log and error_log files. The times I’ve seen an issue with the GUI constantly asking for login is normally an issue revealed in one of those two files.
