We have a small callcenter with 5 people taking incoming calls. They would like to have asterisk auto play a greeting when they answer the phone, just something they could record like ‘Hi, this is Bob. Thanks for holding’ so they don’t have to say it everytime they answer the phone. They’ve said they had this at other places they have worked. Is there any easy way to implement this?
I think not as customized as per single agent but you can achieve a general announcement right? And i guess you know that will be inside the queue module under join announcement.
Otherwise, you would need to write a custom queue module
