Hi everyone!
Im sort of a noob to asterisk and FreePBX so please bear with me.
I’ve been running FreePBX for months on my SIP devices with no problems. Last week we added a new line for our fax machine and while setting up the machine I noticed that something has gone awry. When I dial the fax extension from a SIP extension or outside line, it rings (i’ve put in an old telephone for testing). When I pick up the receiver to dial out, all I get is a reorder tone. Dialing over the tone yield no results and as far as I can tell everything should work. The FXS port is brand new and designed for the card i’m using (both are digium). The extension is setup to use DAHDi Channel 4 (where the module is). I’m not sure what’s going on. I can dial it from the new line and it rings, we’ve already received a few faxes on it, but we can’t send anything out.
Any ideas?
