[Amportal-users] upgrading FREEPBX?

I thought moving to the modular approach in 2.1.0 would not require you to
download the entire tarball in order to upgrade to 2.1.1 but rather to be
able to uograde modules as they change including the core. What am I
missing. If this is the case which module maintains the version number

Look on the FreePBX site there are instructions on how to upgrade. Search.

newbie question here.
I installed *@h 2.8 a month or so ago, and it is working.

I noticed that it has FreePBX V 2.0.1. and that there is a V 2.1.1 on
the FreePBX site.

Can this be upgraded? How to do so, any instructions for upgrade
somewhere? and would there be any issues with breaking something that is
currently not broken?

Thanks for any info and response.

Regards
Tom
