[Amportal-users] Installing FreePBX with multiple AsteriskSe

The fastest way to get of the ground is to configure an outbound route of “x.” to an IAX trunk tied to the other system. Any extension existing locally will be hit first, then it will route everything else (and I mean everything, even local/ld) out to the other system. Of course, if you only want 4 digit extensions for example, use xxxx, or if you only want 2000-2999 use 2xxx, etc.

There are several good instructions online on how to create an IAX trunk between two asterisk servers.

can you please be a little more specific how do you configure each freepbx or trunks to link the asterisk boxes without having to put hands on annoying code lines?

I want to know how you define the inter asterisk connection (i suppose IAX) in the freepbx, and how you make unknown extension lookups in the other asterisk boxes? IAX trunk?

Is there out a wiki, or a help to do this in freepbx?
