[Amportal-users] iax_custom.conf is ignored?

Hi list!

I am trying to setup a direct dial in number from didww

I put the necessary config stuff in iax_custom.conf but noticed some weird
stuff.

In my /etc/asterisk/iax.conf both iax_custom.conf as well as
iax_additional.conf were commented out.

Yet, when doing ‘iax2 reload’ at the * console i get output that asterisk
is looking at iax.conf and iax_additional.conf

Even if I remove the # before include iax_custom.conf and restart asterisk
(not reload) still asterisk is not looking at iax_custom.conf

The above makes me wonder where asterisk is getting the info from which
config files it should read it’s iax configs. Something tells me it is not
iax.conf

The permissions on iax_custom.conf are properly set and I am running
FreePBX 2.1.2

Thanks for any pointers!

Cheers!
Remco

Those are NOT comments in Asterisk syntax. Put the # back in. Its
required for the #include command to work properly.
