[Amportal-users] How to set DID on an incoming route from SI

I have a DID which forwards to my Asterisk/FreePBX server. When the call
comes in I see the following on the command line:

Executing Set(“SIP/6495556677-4b08”, “FROM_DID=s”) in new stack

I have set up an Incoming Route with 6495556677 in the DID Number field.
However incoming calls don’t use this route but use the catchall incoming
route instead. I thought that Asterisk would detect this DID and use it to
determine the route. Am I wrong or have I set something up incorrectly?

Regards

Cameron

If your provider was sending DID information, you would see “FROM_DID=6495556677” instead of “s”. You need to check with your provider to ensure that they do send DID information. It looks like you’re not getting any.
