[Amportal-users] freepbx as a SIP server behind nat, clients

Hi,

This is due to firewall you need to set firewall setting and allow RTP port
in Rtp.conf or you can change port according to your firewall setting in
Rtp.conf

Also make following changes
In sip_nat.conf

nat=yes

externip=61.16.232.251 (external ip of asterisk box)

localnet=10.0.0.44/255.255.255.0 (internal ip of asterisk box)

canreinvite=no

In Device option change (sip.conf)
nat=yes
qualify=yes

Regards

[quote] btw the sip guy on the other end should also do the same set of things for
their SIP and RTP ports because they in all likelihood are behind a NAT
and
firewall
