[Amportal-users] freepbx-2.2.0rc3 Bug

Since trac is down, i figured i would list the bug here. I have an
incoming call route send calls to ring group 1. Ring group one
contains about 5 ext. Its currently not working

this seems to be the core of the problem. It apparently doesn’t place
the ring group in a context that is excessable by the main route or it
doesn’t place the ring group at all.

In Freepbx, it seems to be deisigned such that ring groups are not meant to be accessible from external pstn calls. It can however be accessed from an IVR. Alternatively, for pstn calls to dial a ring group directly the workaround is to add the following in the extensions_custom.conf file:

[ext-did-custom]
include => ext-group

After a bunch of troubleshooting i’ve determined its because of
