[Amportal-users] Administrators module problem

Hi

My existing config is still from AMP 1.17 era and I never managed to
figure how how to enable Administrators module.

The WIKI says first to set AUTHTYPE=database

When I do that I cannot log in no matter what I try.

Is this really the first step or should I still create a user first but
only the admin user?

This is a production box and I don’t want to mess it up.

Thanks!
Remco

Should that line also be in the config for a stock CentOS 4.3 box? I’m
not running an upgraded AAH install.

Thanks!

Thanks! As far as I can see there is no http / apache password set.

Would it be necessary to create the Admin user first before switching the
authentication type in AMP?

The Wiki is quite clear not to create any user in AMP before switching
the authentication type.
