[Amportal-devel] Amportal-devel Digest, Vol 8, Issue 4

PLEASE! - report these in the tracker. It is only by accident that they get seen here as neither Rob, I or others have much of a chance to keep up with all the forums out there.

(p.s. it is actually a different bug then with queues, and it turns out is only an issue when transfering with the ‘#’ vs. device transfer keys (and … although I closed the previous queue bug, I’m now thinking it may not be fixed in the ‘#’ transfer case.

I think I have a fix that will probably finally lick the queue one as well as fix the newley introduced one that you mention here (when using ‘#’ to trransfer - where it manifests itself.

Subject: [Amportal-devel] Bug in Ring Groups

Similar (identical) to a bug found in Queues previously, FreePBX appears
to be writing config files incorrectly for Ring Groups.

To be more specific, under the xcurrent SVN (as of 12/5/2006), ring
groups will demonstrate the same issues as queues did previously. This
issue is that when a call is answered via a ring group, then transferred
to another extension, that extension’s voicemail will never answer and
the call will eventunally drop.

I found a bug report from Queues and was able to work around the problem
myself, but I wanted to report this so that Ring Groups can be fixed as
well.

Thank you.
