I have 4 servers all are PIAF (PBX in a flash) distro all PIAF ver. 1.4, however two of the 4 have the same issues after upgrading from freepbx 2.6 to 2.7. The backup and restore module stops working. I uninstalled then reinstalled the backup and restore module, but still it is not creating any backup files. I tried using the “now” schedule to see if it does create a backup file, it doesn’t. I didn’t see any errors on the dashboard even during the upgrade and I didn’t any errors after. When I tried to do the “now” schedule, I did not see any errors also. Are there any permissions that I need to check, just to make sure that it is not a “writing” permission error? I checked the folder /var/lib/asterisk/backups, and there is nothing in there aside from the backup files that was created before the upgrade. Please help. Thank you.

I wonder if this will be fixed in version 3. - Sort of useless at present.

Check that the file /var/www/html/admin/modules/backup/bin/ampbackup.php is executable, of not then do chmod 755 ampbackup.php.
Thanks Mikael that seem to have solved the problem with getting the backups working again.
I would like to setup an FTP back from the FreePBX console ver 2.7 and I’m not sure how to setup properly and and I would also like to add the tftp folder to this backup as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -cory
