Advanced Settings: Details on Call Recording Options

As I have been moving our large collection of call recordings, it became obvious (due to file size) that the extension recordings are in uncompressed WAV format, while the queue calls are in WAV49 (GSM compressed WAV) format.

I went to Advanced Settings to change the Extension recording format to WAV49, too, but it is unclear which format is which, as there is a “wav” and a “WAV”. I think that the “WAV” is actually WAV49, but the tooltip is not helpful, nor is the Wiki.

Can anyone shed some light here?
