Adding a Diversion Header to Outbound Invite…
Can someone tell me exactly how and where to add a diversion header to the invite I send to my provider?
In order to block my outbound caller ID I attempted to send “Unknown” in the from field but was instructed I would need to add a diversion header so that their SIP server will authenticate my outbound Invited based off the diversion header but send the from field for outbound caller ID.
I had tried to add it in the extensions.conf file but it is not coming across in the Invite my provider receives
