Wanting to increase the security of the install (which is on the public net) I wanted to add a password for anyone hitting the initial menu.
I added this via htpasswd and for some reason it didn’t work (more likely my lack of knowledge!).
Anyway, I removed the top level htaccess/htpasswd and noe cannot loging to Freepbx.
If I change amportal.conf to ‘AUTHTYPE=none’ I can, but, of course, I lose security on freepbx.
Whilst searching, i thought I did find something explaining the issue, but quickly lost it.
Can anyone help?
