Activation when restoring to a new VM

I run FreePBX 13 distro in a Xenserver VM and ran out of disk space on /dev/xvda.

To resolve the issue I increased the size of the virtual disk and made a copy of the VM in case it all went pair shaped. I also exported the VM to XVA. I then performed the disk size increase on the copy and it all went well with out issues. So with the working copy with the disk size increased in production I deleted the original VM and am now using the copy.

Unfortunately after deleting the original VM I now realise that I needed to deactivate it first so that I can activate the copy. My question is what is the process for restoring the activation to the new VM as a new VM is seen as new hardware.

Thank you - I have done this and the activation page came back with waiting for apache to restart which it didn’t. I opened a ssh session and noted that the webserver is throwing an error

Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 26 of /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf:
SSLCertificateKeyFile: file ‘/etc/httpd/pki/webserver.key’ does not exist or is empty
There is no webserver.key in the directory now and the gui won’t load

I recreated the certs using this command openssl req -x509 -nodes -days 365 -newkey rsa:2048 -keyout webserver.key -out webserver.crt found elsewhere on this site and apache starts and I have activated

Thanks for you help
