A little help with subscriptions?

Would love it if someone can offer a fix here. Using a Cisco 8811 (yeah, I know) phone, and it seems to check the presence state of each phone when it lists a directory, so while scrolling through the list of users, the phone is making repeated queries to Asterisk to see if the user is Busy, Avail, DND etc, and it shows this below their name.

It succeeds for my own directly entry, and says ‘Available’ everyone else is ‘Offline’ and the three sip packets below show why. In those, my extension is 204 and the three show the phone asking about 276, a similar exchange happens for each name in the list.

My question, is there a way to allow the phone to get an answer? to have Asterisk not check the auth?
