*8# ringing busy after update

Hi,

I just updated our PBX server to Asterisk 11.3.0 and FreePBX 2.10.1.9. Al is running wonderfully, however we used to be able to pick up a ringing extension using *8# Now we are just getting busy signals. according to Asterisk General Call Pickup it is set to *8 and it is enabled. Is there something else I need to do?

I would look at some call logs and see what shows up. If you can’t figure it out, maybe post them here and someone might be able to figure it out.

Are the call groups and pickup groups correct? What happens when you dial *8 while the end point is on hook and then go off hook.?

Thanks so much guys. it was the call groups. I made the changes and they did not save. Must have been user error. I went back and checked again and reset them and it is working fantastic.
