Ok - I have a little over 80 machines that I am getting ready to upgrade and I see three paths to upgrading them.
They are all currently Distro 6.12.65, FreePBX 12 and Asterisk 11.
On our InHouse machine this morning, I went with the following path:
FreePBX 12 to 13
Distro upgrade to 10.13.66
asterisk-version-switch to 13
It seems to be working OK, but is there a preferred sequence?
The only thing I have noticed that this upgrade path breaks is I had a symbolic link /var/lib/asterisk/mohmp3 that pointed to /var/lib/asterisk/moh - the upgrades removed this link, and then one of my MOH classes was broken - replaced the link and it was fine - why would you remove a symbolic link?
Another breakage - I can no longer FAX to myself with FaxPRO - Here is the message I get:
Executing [[email protected]:5] ExecIf(“SIP/BluIP-In-000000a9”, “1?Set(FAXSTATUS=“FAILED: error: Disconnected after permitted retries statusstr: Disconnected after permitted retries”)”) in new stack
Anyone else seen this?
