2 sip providers - one dedicated service with gateway and other flowroute

Hello,

We have a client who wants to use a dedicated sip service which has a gateway on site with a local address. They also want a backup sip service for which we are using flowroute. It is a premise-pbx which is behind nat.

Now, this is the issue we are facing:

  1. For the dedicated sip service, since the gateway has a local address, I have set nat=no in sip settings. Then only the ip is sent correctly in sip messages. Contact ip is local address of the gateway.
  2. However, for flowoute, I would have to set nat=yes and the contact ip needs to be sent as the external ip.

I can’t make both of them work at the same time. Is there a way we can do this?

Please advise.

Thanks.

Is this even possible? I would appreciate if someone can respond to this.

Thanks

If you set up one using the PJ-SIP driver and the other with the Chan-SIP driver, I think you can specify different NAT and other gateway settings.

In the trunk definition, I think you can also specify “NAT=YES” or “NAT=NO” and that might get you where you want to go.

Thank you!
