13 to 15 upgrade question about Ethernet adapter

We are starting to plan a 13 to 15 upgrade, from a physical PC to a VM.

The system has a single SIP trunk to a Digium G100.

The Ethernet adapter in the physical PC is called “p2p1”, instead of the standard “eth0”

I don’t know enough about how the system hooks this name to know if it will create a problem when we restore the v13 backup to the v15 system. Can anyone help with this? Will the trunk be affected? Licensed modules? Anything else?

the restore process will not interfere with your network hardware’s naming convention, Just adjust any IP addresses if needed in the sip and advanced settings.
