Got an S505 displaying “1 new Message(s)” but it has no voicemail. Can’t figure out how to get rid of it.
make sure that /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/default/(S505) is not existant.
(if being clever, then make that /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/clever/(S505) is neither existant. )
/var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/default/2019 does exist. I’m guessing that if I remove the directory the user will need to reinitialize their voicemail box but that the “1 new Message(s)” message on the screen should be gone? Or did I miss the point?
anything in INBOX will trigger that
INBOX does exist but there isn’t anything in it.
