Is there anyway for a user to enable/disable their own voicemail either via the UCP or by dialling a feature code?
Some of our users would like to disable voicemail on their extension when in the office, but enable it when on leave etc.
You can do this with follow-me. Set up follow-me for the extension to fail over to a destination other than voicemail. The user then uses the follow-me toggle feature code (default *21) to enable/disable.
Yup that works. A of a hassle having to set all the follow-me’s for all our extensions but doable.
