I’m Looking to discover more about what i am purchasing before a make and upgrade to
Asterisk Intel Trixbox Server M814-41 1U Cube VoIP PBX 2G 250G w OpenVox 4 FXO
currently I have “home built” asterisk 11 with free pbx 2.9 distro installed red hat, 120 gig hard drive approx 3gig ram.
Does anyone know what kind of upgrade the trixbox is
Trixbox has been abandoned for years and you will be hard pressed to find someone who would consider trixbox an upgrade in any sense of the word
I looked at that listing on eBay. There is nothing special about any of it. In fact if you read the fine print you are responsible for loading the distro of your choice, including FreePBX’s own official distro.
You would be far better off taking a look in our store at the certified FreePBX appliances that will arrive with fully installed latest stable version of FreePBX.
Openvox is also the least expensive servicable telephony card for Asterisk.

I figured there was a catch. I’m pretty happy with my current system.
Not to draw to much controversy on this, but
do you know if it is legal to sell pc or hard drive with such software installed?
