System using a strange RTP Port

My phone system was working fine a few weeks ago until suddenly on outgoing calls the remote party could not hear me. I talked to my VOIP provider and they said that it could be because my box was using a strange port (49558) rather then one within the 10,000 to 20,000 range. I checked all my settings but I am still not sure why that port is being used. I put my box in the DMZ and the calls work.

Any idea why its using this non-standard port?

Do you have RTP ports defined in SIP Settings?

I have checked rtp.conf and it has 10000 and 20000 as start and end settings.

Are you sure that the port you are looking at is not the source port as opposed to the destination port?
