Spoof/Mask sipStation DID with Google Voice number possible?

Hi I have a Google Voice number xxx-xxx-xxxx that directs calls to my voip number yyy-yyy-yyyy.

When I contact people from my VOIP I would like the xxx-xxx-xxxx number to show up on their caller ID.

How can I achieve this? Any suggestions?

Okay they had the answer on expert’s exchange.

Turns out you have to specify it for each specific extension.

Then under extension options of selected extension find field OUTBOUND CALLERID.

Within OUTBOUND CALLERID specify your number in the format “name”< number no hyphens >

The only thing now is, “name” does not show up instead location is displayed.

Most answers you seek can be found on our wiki, http://wiki.freepbx.org/display/ST/LIDB+Updating, you set your outbound CID in the outbound routes module, or at the extension level, http://wiki.freepbx.org/display/F2/Outbound+Routes+Module+User+Guide

Not sure why you would need to go to a pay site not related to FreePBX for answers.
