IVR sends to ring groups
If ring groups don’t answer is there a way to send caller to Google VM as apposed to a FreePBX voicemail box?
I’m not thinking its possible because the call has already been picked up by the IVR, but knowing if its possible would be cool.
I’ve set up the opposite for fails to my cellphone (so the VM ends up in Asterisk if I don’t pick up), but I don’t think it’s going to be possible to send the call back to GV Mailbox. Your thinking would seem spot on to me - once GV has sent the call to you and has been answered by your system (through the IVR) I think you’re stuck with the call failing to a local service.
