Recorded calls not showing in user interface

I have a few users who need to record calls from time to time, and as of right now when they record calls using the *1 feature code, the calls only show up in /var/spool/asterisk/monitor/… I’m wondering if there is a setting that I need to enable somewhere to make the call recordings go to the user portals automatically.
