PostFix running at 100%

We have about half of our FreePBX distro server will randomly have the Postfix running at 100% (has at least two processes running at 98%) The only thing that seems to resolves is to stop postfix service, kill the processes then start postfix again (or reboot server).

Has anyone else ran into this issue or know what could be causing this issue?

Running FreePBX Distro 5.211.65-14

http://www.postfix.org/DEBUG_README.html

postfix logs (in your OS) to /var/log/maillog

so watching what’s happening with :-

tailf /var/log/maillog

should show a relative “quietness” unless something untoward is happening, It might give you a quick clue . . .

Thanks, I look at the debug and looking at the logs I noticed a lot of

postfix/smtpd[26658]: connect from localhost[127.0.0.1]
postfix/smtpd[26658]: disconnect from localhost[127.0.0.1]

The only other entries are showing the emails being sent out.
