PJSIP hold and pickup

I am planning on moving over from freepbx 12 to freepbx 13 this weekend. I currently use Devices/Users mode. We do this because we have extensions that appear on multiple devices. So from what I understand, we can now change to pjsip and switch back to extension mode and a single extensions can register from multiple devices/endpoints at the same time.

So my questions, if a person is on a call for an extension that is on two devices, can the put the call on hold on one extension and pick it up on another?

If an extension is on a call if a endpoint with the same extension goes off hook are they on the same call?

I am reliably informed that this would be possible with Asterisk ARI, but FreePBX presently doesn’t work like this “out of the box”
