No audio on remote extensions

Welp, I was frantically digging and found a solution. Actually on one of my old posts on this forum!

External SIP extension not answering inbound calls

I re-engaged this problem today. I took the phone home where I have more control over the router and the environment, but now I am having more problems. I have the following ports forward on the PBX server side to the server IP and on the phone location to the phone IP 4569 4445 5060 10000-20000 The phone connects to the PBX and registers. I can call internal extensions and internal extensions can call the remote phone. But the remote phone can’t make outbound calls and no audio, even o…

There must be something with the Asus RT-N66U that causes this. Both times the PBX has been behind one and both times switching “IP Configuration” to “Public” has solved the issue.
