I have set the mail server in Admin/System Admin/Email Setup to the following:
Use External SMTP Server
Other
hostname of our mail relay server
No Authentication
However when the server sends out voicemail and test emails they go to our MX record rather than to the mail relay. I verify this with the debug option and the /var/log/maillog.
