Not that this is the issue but cxpanel appears to still be installed.

Run (from command line)
amportal a ma delete cxpanel

I am very new at this, and I do apologize in advance for not being more descriptive. I truly am not only trying my best, but learning as I go.

[root@pbx-backup-1 ~]# amportal a ma delete cxpanel

Fetching FreePBX settings with gen_amp_conf.php…

The following error(s) occured:

  • Specified module not found
    [root@pbx-backup-1 ~]#

it shows gone now.

customcontexts 2.11.0.1 Enabled
dahdiconfig 2.11.47 Enabled
dashboard 2.11.0.5 Enabled
daynight 2.11.0.4 Enabled

Still blank page though right?

Correct, still bank page.

Retried everything over the weekend. this time I tried to update sysadmin from the CLI “amportal a ma update sysadmin” same result but I have different logs in httpd/error_log:

Fetching FreePBX settings with gen_amp_conf.php…

trying to run as user asterisk:

[FPBXDBUGDISABLE] changed from previous value: [1] to new value: [0]

That’s the problem but unfortunately that tells me nothing. Apache is crashing basically. That’s why I have been unable to help you.

Are you on the disro? Did you run all the distro upgrade scripts?

If I understand you correctly, this is what I’m doing. I installed from iso FreePBX Distro 5.211.65-15 then I restore from our existing PBX backup which is on 1.817.210.58-1. Then I followed the upgrade scripts to from -16 to -20 found here: http://wiki.freepbx.org/display/FD/FreePBX-Distro-5.211.65 From -20 is when I was using the GUI to upgrade. Everything worked until the sysadmin upgrade to sysadmin 2.11.0.55.

I’m back at square one, new pbx, on -15 with no restore from old pbx yet. Maybe there is something different I should be doing?

I got it to work. Thank for everyones help. I went back and discovered I skipped one of the earlier updates to FreePBX-2.210.62. Thank you all for your help, I learned a lot on the way.

Dear All,

i just did an update from the module admin, and now my gui is blank i checked the cxpanel and it is not installed.

my version of PBX is 3.211.63-10, im using the distro.

cat /etc/schmooze/pbx-version

3.211.63-10

can i run the upgrade-5.211.65-21.sh ? o do i need to start from earlies versions?

Never mind my last post,

i found the respond in the wiki, doing the next upgrade now for the 3.211.63-10 which is the 3.211.63-100- This will take your 3.211.63 version system to a 4.211.64-1 version and track.

Lets see how it goes.

ok After upgrade the scripts to:

cat /etc/schmooze/pbx-version
4.211.64-1

now the GUI is back.

I guess i will have to do a few more upgrade, or do you think is better just do a full backup reinstall the new distro and restore the backup?

Thanks
