Full new install with distro and NO DAHDI in asterisk?

Using the Distro “FreePBX-64bit-10.03.66.iso”, I have completed a totally new install and although the system went in with no errors or indicators, the DAHDi configuration page has no info and also has the red block reading “DAHDi Doesn’t appear to be running. Click the ‘Restart/Reload Dahdi Button’ Below”.

The system sees the card:

###################################################################

SUMMARY

###################################################################

2 T1/E1 port(s) detected, 2 configured
0 ISDN BRI port(s) detected, 0 configured
1 analog card(s) detected, 1 configured
0 GSM card(s) detected, 0 configured
0 usb device(s) detected, 0 configured

Configurator will create the following files:
1. Wanpipe config files in /etc/wanpipe
2. Dahdi config file /etc/dahdi/system.conf
3. chan_dahdi config file /etc/asterisk/dahdi-channels.conf

I am unsure if you need more information… but I can get nearly anything you ask for…
but I am also unsure of what to do next…

short of blowing it away and going back a level…

Hi!

It might be this: DAHDI Errors - Permission denied

Good luck and have a nice day!

HOT DARN! The removal and re-install of the DAHDi module worked like a charm…
I guess that sometimes one has to step back and just look at the problem… a weekend away from the box (and your input, of course) worked wonders…
came in at 0600 this morning and was up and running by 0615!
Great guidance, and VERY appreciated!
Thank you

Hi!

There was recently a module update of dahdi-config which was supposed to fix this problem but did not for me.

If you have a chance do you think that you could possibly check if it changes anything for you please?

Thank you and have a nice day!

Nick
