Below are the suggestions that I found and tried…

Hardware and system time are correct and match
Did ‘amportal chown’ and ‘amportal a ma refreshsignatures’ - both completed successfully.
Tries settibg ‘Use wget For Module Admin’ to true in settings>gui behavior.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I ran into this when upgrading from a much older version of FreePBX to a modern one.

Might want to take a look at: Error Upgrading Modules: GPG Verify File check failed

The commands worked for me.
